They return to the moon to help their friend, the secretive moon creature called the Frataslas. The Frataslas is in danger of being discovered by a team of scientists.
Next, Mousie and Lousie enjoy a fun visit to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, with their cousins Topsie and Wopsie—girl mice of about the same age as Mousie and Lousie. One highlight of their trip is a visit to the University of Pittsburgh where Professor Vernes received one of his several PhDs.
